Justin S. Cooper

Geoscientist

Justin S. Cooper was first educated in the Lone Star College System where he received an Associate of Science in Geology. He then transferred to the University of Houston receiving a Bachelor of Science in Geology. While at the University of Houston, Justin embarked on collaborative research projects with NASA and Doctoral Candidates studying the mineralogy and petrology of mantle xenoliths, gaining insights into both the deep water and deep carbon cycles and their roles in metasomatic alteration of sub-continental lithosphere. Justin attended the prestigious Yellowstone-Bighorn Research Association (YBRA) summer education program, where he gained expertise in geologic field-mapping.

Justin joined the Earth Measurement Corporation in February 2019. He assists the team in all aspects of geophysical investigation and applies his knowledge to interpretation and overview of the data acquired in the field.
