Company Safety Goals

Industrial and environmental hazards inherent to the class of work we operate within are perhaps not immediately visible - but they are real and they are many!  Earth Measurement Corporation (EMC) take these hazards very seriously, and to buffer the onslaught of those threats every employee on our team is thoroughly trained in safe work practices.  We believe each employee is responsible in keeping themselves and their fellow co-worker’s safe.  We laud the ability to “Stop Work” any time that it should be deemed necessary..

Our people are trained at a minimum with:

  • 40-Hour Hazwoper Introduction
  • 8-Hour Hazwoper Annual Refresher
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC)
  • Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC)
  • SafeLand USA PEC Card
  • Basic Plus Training
  • Site Specific Training

In addition to the aforementioned training certifications, we are concurrently enrolled in a variety of other safety programs which include: DISA, PICS, ISNetworld, and multiple area safety councils.

As a result, EMC has achieved 0 (zero) losses on the job since our inception in 1990.  None!  We are proud of this accomplishment and the security it lends to those that would employ us.  Congratulations team!
