Pipeline and Utility Locating
The upper 1-12 feet of earth on your property conceal a number of obstacles, which often includes pipelines and a variety of utilities. Manmade conduits supplying the transmission of water, sewage, oil and gas, often lay buried in an obscure network of excavation hazards.
For this labyrinth of subsurface liabilities, we attack the problem with a multi-level, multi-tool assault, from our arsenal of geophysical equipment, including: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetics (EM), and RadioDetection (Induction).
Once dispatched, our team will study the property and can provide 100-percent survey coverage by utilizing a site specific grid or by collecting field data with Global Positioning (GPS) equipment with navigation software. While these pipelines and electrical systems are most often found within the upper 10 feet of the surface, we can easily survey to a depth of 20 feet with our EM-31, and to even greater depths when necessary. Included in our results is the identification of all located anomalies and pipelines.
